Trial access to the CINAHL Ultimate database

From 30 March to 31 May 2026, the University Library invites you to try out the CINAHL Ultimate database.

CINAHL Ultimate is the most comprehensive full-text database in the field of nursing. It covers areas such as nursing, biomedicine, alternative medicine and 17 related health sciences. The database indexes over 5,500 titles and contains over 7 million records, with archives dating back to 1937. It includes the full text of over 900 non-open access journals indexed in CINAHL, with archives dating back to 1937.

The database offers access to the full collection of English-language journals and publications issued by the American Occupational Therapy Association and the American Diabetes Association, as well as access to books on healthcare, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of care, educational programmes, book chapters and audiovisual materials. The database utilises the MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) thesaurus.

The CINAHL Ultimate database is accessible via all computers on the university network as well as from home computers via a proxy server.
