Wystawa ZWIERZĘTAK!² podejmuje temat relacji człowieka ze światem zwierząt i naturą, ukazując współczesne zagrożenia ekologiczne przez pryzmat indywidualnych wypowiedzi artystycznych. Prezentowane prace poruszają kwestie empatii, odpowiedzialności oraz kruchości życia, zachęcając do refleksji nad losem zagrożonych gatunków.

Joanna Bochaczek-Trąbska: Moje spontaniczne „sklejki” – collage, to forma wypowiedzi artystycznej, po którą sięgnęłam pierwszy raz. Klejone opowiastki zostały utkane ze skrawków dwuwymiarowej rzeczywistości tworząc wielowymiarowe narracje. Niektóre z nich przedstawiają spójną historię, inne z kolei współgrają tematem, kolorem, kompozycją. Szczególną rolę w tych wyimaginowanych światach pełni dialog fauny i flory, którego interpretacja i odbiór zawsze pozostanie kwestia indywidualną.

Agnieszka Półrola: Wierzę, że współczesna sztuka nie może ograniczać się wyłącznie do estetyki – musi stawać się przestrzenią etycznej odpowiedzialności i krytycznego namysłu. W obliczu kryzysu ekologicznego i postępującej degradacji środowiska twórczość artystyczna powinna podejmować tematy fundamentalne: ochrony życia, troski o inne gatunki, a także dekonstrukcji antropocentrycznego spojrzenia na naturę. Inspirowana filozofią głębokiej ekologii Arne Naessa, analizą mechanizmów władzy Michela Foucaulta oraz dekonstrukcją Jacques’a Derridy, postrzegam sztukę jako narzędzie demaskowania ukrytych struktur dominacji i odbudowywania wrażliwości wobec świata nie-ludzkiego. Nosorożec – jako symbol ginącego świata – staje się dla mnie metaforą utraty równowagi, ale i wezwaniem do zmiany myślenia o relacji człowieka z przyrodą.

Paulina Przeniosło: W mojej twórczości koncentruję się na problematyce gatunków zagrożonych wyginięciem, traktując sztukę jako formę wizualnego komentarza do współczesnych wyzwań ekologicznych. Poprzez symboliczne przedstawienia, świadome operowanie formą graficzną i typografią, staram się tworzyć obrazy, które nie tylko poruszają estetycznie, ale przede wszystkim skłaniają do refleksji nad kruchością natury i odpowiedzialnością człowieka za jej przyszłość. Wierzę, że sztuka może i powinna być narzędziem budzenia świadomości oraz empatii wobec świata, który wciąż uczy nas pokory i współistnienia.

The exhibition ZWIERZĘTAK!² examines the intricate and evolving relationship between humans, animals, and the natural world, illuminating urgent ecological concerns through the lens of distinct artistic voices. The works presented confront issues of empathy, responsibility, and the precariousness of life, encouraging reflection upon the fate of endangered species and the broader consequences of environmental degradation.

Joanna Bochaczek-Trąbska: My spontaneous „sklejki” – collages – mark a new artistic language for me, a medium I have embraced for the first time. These assembled vignettes, woven from scraps of two-dimensional reality, unfold into multi-layered visual narratives. Some recount coherent, self-contained stories; others are linked more subtly through shared themes, hues, or compositional echoes. At the heart of these imagined worlds lies a dialogue between flora and fauna – a conversation open to interpretation, shaped as much by the viewer's sensibility as by the artist’s hand.

Agnieszka Półrola: I hold that contemporary art must move beyond mere aesthetic contemplation to become a space of ethical engagement and critical inquiry. In the face of ecological collapse and the relentless degradation of the natural world, artistic practice must address essential concerns: the safeguarding of life, the care for non-human species, and the dismantling of entrenched anthropocentric paradigms. My work is informed by the philosophy of deep ecology as articulated by Arne Naess, the discourse of power as analysed by Michel Foucault, and the deconstructive approach of Jacques Derrida. For me, art becomes an instrument for unmasking hidden structures of domination and for cultivating renewed attentiveness to the non-human. The rhinoceros – emblematic of a vanishing world – becomes a metaphor for the loss of ecological equilibrium, and a summons to rethink our relation to nature itself.

Paulina Przeniosło: In my artistic practice, I focus on species threatened with extinction, approaching art as a form of visual commentary on the ecological dilemmas of our age. Through symbolic imagery and the deliberate interplay of graphic form and typography, I seek to create works that not only engage on an aesthetic level but, more crucially, provoke contemplation on the fragility of nature and the moral obligations humanity bears towards its preservation. I believe art possesses the potential – and indeed the imperative – to awaken both awareness and empathy towards a world that persistently instructs us in humility and the imperative of coexistence.
