Open Access Publishing Programs
Open Access publishing programs enable free publication of articles in scientific journals under Open Access principles. Publishing in this model may involve an additional charge, known as an Article Processing Charge (APC), which the scientific publisher charges to the author. The costs associated with publication can be covered by the university, from a grant or project, or subsidized under various agreements and programs.
Researchers at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa have the opportunity to publish their articles in selected scientific journals under the Open Access (OA) model thanks to a national license managed by the Virtual Science Library and through a consortium.
